If you have a roof to put up in a day, would you rather use a hammer and box of nails or an automated compressed-air hammer with strips of 40 roofing nails you can slip into the gun's clip every 5 minutes? I vote for the air hammer.
OK, let's take this one step further: what if you found a pre-built roof you could order in 4 sizes and 18 colors and 3 styles? It came in two pieces and it was trucked in for you. Would you be tempted to use that and build your structure so it would fit? I would. PLUS: I'd still use my air hammer to tie those two halves of my pre-built roof together.
